Tasting Notes
Nose: A very ‘thick’ nose; dark maple syrup, treacle and dark berries initially fill the senses. This is followed by wood spices, cinnamon and cloves along with a hint of dark chocolate.
Taste: The dark fruits and berries dominate the pallate; blackberries, red currents, raisins and plums coat the mouth. Hints of toffee, chocolate and cinnamon round off a wonderful lingering finish.

Stravaig Spirits
Hi!
Before we tell you a little more about our brands, we’d like to introduce ourselves. We are Ryan McCafferty and Ola Lopatowska, the co-founders of Stravaig Spirits. We’ve been friends for over 10 years and share a great love of Scotch Whisky. We are enthusiasts (not snobs!), and think the unrivalled way that Scotch whisky can create connections and conversations around the world is truly special.
We specialise in Scotch whisky, we've been Independent bottlers of Tri Carragh single malt Scotch whisky for a few years, it launched October 2022 and is now on our 5th release of three single cask, cask strength bottlings. These are super limited and only ever produce around 200 - 300 bottles per expression from one single cask. We choose the most interesting distilleries and sometimes finish them in different woods to create characterful and interesting whisky that can create a good conversation (or debate!) when sharing with friends or family.
Glenlaird Single Malt Scotch Whisky we launched in Autumn 2023 in South Korea and it's now available this year in the UK through a select few retailers. It's a small batch release and also limited in numbers. Currently we offer two expressions, a 10 year old and 12 year old lightly peated, both from the Highlands region. We're reduced this whisky down to 48%, making it a great all-rounder for those who like to drink their whisky neat, with ice or even with a mixer. We think the 10 year old works great with soda while the 12 year old is fab with ginger ale.
Thanks for taking the time to read and we hope you'll enjoy a dram of Tri Carragh or Glenlaird.
Sláinte!
Ola & Ryan
