I've been asked, pleaded and begged to make a chilli chocolate over the years, but never one to follow the crowd I've put my own spin on it!
So here it is, inspired by my favourite Mexican restaurant Carlito Burrito, my Mexican Chilli Salt Chocolate...
Using fresh lime, inca sun salt and my dad's home-grown unknown chilli variety (of which there is only a pinch as these really pack a punch) to recreate one of my favourite seasonings, the Mexican Chilli Salt!
Paired with my new beautifully light and fruity dark chocolate, created using beans sourced from the Akesson Estate in Madagascar (keep an eye out for this one 😉)
