Our traditional BBQ sauce is made with pineapple and spices with a peppery bite. It is quite smoky too.
The rich deep flavour makes it ideal as both a marinade and a dipping sauce.
When using it as a marinade, you only need a little, enough to cover your choice of protein and keep brushing as you barbecue or grill. The same goes if you use it in roasting. This can also be used in fish or seafood or vegetables.
As a dipping sauce, it is ideal with pulled pork, chicken or beef in a bao bun with pickles or any fermented food.
