THE IMAGE
This image was inspired by a wee trip to Monifieth Beach, near Dundee, with a friend. We both ended up huddled under a tree when the rain came over from Fife and soaked us for 2 minutes! Oh and then we also nearly got shot at as we wandered too far down the beach as I'd forgotten the army practice shooting things up around there. Luckily a soldier in a lookout booth warned us over his tannoy. We were far too busy taking photos of the sea and looking at shells to see the titchy, wee warning sign. Whoops! I know artists are supposed to suffer for their art etc but I think being shot might have taken that a step too far.
