Loch Lomond Light

This giclée print is inspired by a trip to the shores of Loch Lomond on my way back from the Highlands. I had to be quick when there was a break in the weather and it stopped raining just long enough for me to snap some photos of the stunning view. I explored a little bit near the Inveruglas Pyramid - An Ceann Mòr as you get a great view from there. There's also a little cafe and the Inveruglas Pier ferry terminal. I was amazed by how much I could see the clouds just dumping a pile of rain on the loch, which might also explain why it's so lush and green around there.

If you get a chance to visit loch lomond and the trossachs national park I'd highly recommend it. There's some cracking views which show off Scotland at it's best - lochs and mountain views. This particular view was near the visitor centre where you can also go for a boat trip in season. Hopefully you'll get better weather though!
