THE IMAGE
I got up at the crack of dawn to take photos of Loch Tay but boy was it worth it! Interestingly I preferred the images of the hills and mist compared to the loch itself. The view is from the Ardeonaig side of the loch, looking out north over to Ben Lawers (Scottish Gaelic: Beinn Labhair).
I added in the lovely tweed texture to the image using some fabric I bought later that day in a lovely wee shop in Aberfeldy, just up the road. The tweed is woven locally and has been for well over a hundred years.
