Craft and Design for living.
Working in Hove, I make wooden furniture and homewares on an ever developing journey into material, technique, design, and craft practice. I approach my work to celebrate materials and handcraft by using sustainable components and a combination of traditional and contemporary methods.
Objects surround our motions and are intrinsic to our day to day. Using notes from tradition, natural and built form, material characteristics, and function, I design and make pieces which highlight and celebrate our relationship with objects. Objects which should inspire, excite and harmonise our relationship with them.
