I create original multi layered abstract paintings at my home studio in East Sussex, working on large canvasses, wood panels, wooden bookmarks and more recently a range of fine art prints and special pieces.
I am hugely inspired by water and the sky and love blending creative mark making with a variety of mediums including watercolour ink, spray paint, acrylic and copper leaf, to create colours and forms that are completely unique. Music and colour play a major part in my process and dictate the energy flow of each piece. I work on several paintings at the same time, moving between them, building up the layers, adding or taking away until I feel they are finished.
My artwork is expressive but calm with each painting developing organically to create a one off piece of art.
